LAD 6, CHC 1

Strange pool result for such an authoritative win, with only Puig notching points on the hitter side.

Puig 2

Darvish 6

Bryant 2
Rizzo 1

And we have a new leader!

85 Yuhan 2
84 Shotwell 2
79 Bauer Noobs

72 Zombie Stempel, still gnawing on a femur
71 Williams, Shotwell 1, and Currie 1

68 Cooley

That's the best; see the rest after the jump.

61 Reid Classic about to climb over Zombunting

59 Ansell and Brady
58 Tormey and MArbour 2
57 Drake 1
56 Bingham 1
55 Winklepleck
53 Bingham 2
52 Drake 2 and Camerons 1
51 Reid DS and Powell

46 Elodie

39 Camerons 2
37 Simone
36 JArbour and Dunn
33 Bunting 2 and Currie 2
32 MArbour 1

and Bauer Rematch has many other fine qualities.

But don't get comfortable here, as three out of the four starters are picks and the Cubs are facing elimination. 'Stros/Yanks go at 5 ET, Keuchel v. Tanaka, and I don't have a prediction there; it depends entirely on which Tanaka shows up, and even if it's the one with no stuff, the Houston pen is looking peaked. That line-up needs to put up some crooked numbers early and often.

Dodgers at Cubs at 9 ET, Wood v. Arrieta, and I think the Dodgers probably get out the brooms tonight. That Maddon keeps bringing Carl Edwards into these games tells you a lot; they may have thrown everything they had at the Nats.

...so obviously Houston and Chicago both win handily tonight in low-scoring games? Hee/sigh. As always, peep my math, and good luck!

Anyone else here who's residing near the bottom still checking this page for that miraculous 48 point game by one of their players?

Yes! With any luck, Kershaw will pitch, field and bat amazingly well for every player on both teams. Maybe there's still a chance for me.
