43 degrees on the field, steady rain for most of the game, and the umpiring crew included Angel Hernandez and Tom Hallion. ..."Hallion"? "Hellion"? With..."Angel"? Just me, then? Slow night in the pool; sue me.
The point is, it seems the Rockies won't be stopped. John and Tom get 2, and everyone else is waiting for the AL to come back on the service (or for the D-bats to wake up).

Tomorrow night's docket should make things verrrrry interesting. A Colorado sweep means Tom takes the heretofore-unchallenged lead from Broomfield/Romine, and John's right in the thick of things, not to mention that another handful of poolies will depart from the running -- but that's not 'til 10. 7 PM is Red Sox v. Insectians with Dice K on the mound, a.k.a. "Angela: The Revenge."
