SD 4, STL 0; Pads move on, wild-card round concludes

What a relief! Somewhat unexpected of the Cardinal offense to crap out the way it did (notwithstanding the extremely expected, but still annoying, change in the booth's narrative from "Cardinal baseball, The Right Way, blah dee blah blah" to "there's no stopping these California kidz"). Perhaps it was an homage to Bob Gibson and the usual results from his opponents? In any case, the pool is grateful.

No picks lost; points as follows:

Hosmer 2
Myers 1
Tatis 2

Going into a baseball-less weekend -- and I understand why this is so, but still think bubble entry should have taken place sooner so as not to drop this weird, well, bubble of no games on the first weekend -- here's the money:

24: Shotwell 2
22: Yuhan 2
20: Stempelson Crase LLC

The rest of us plus upcoming action, after the jump.

19: O'Reilly
18: Brady
17: Cameron 2 and Fell 2

14: Bingham 2
13: Yuhan 1, Barboot 2, and Cayenne 2
12: Tormey, Cameron 1, Shotwell 1, and Lund

11: MArbour 2, Barboot 1, Bingham 1, DGB, and Dunn
10: SDB 2, Bauer 1, and MArbour 1
9: Cayenne 1 and Fell 1
8: The JArbours, Winklepleck, and Bauer 2
also present: SDB 1

And that's that until Monday, when we'll likely see another big shuffle by day's end; the ALDSes start at 4:07 ET with 'Stros/A's (or, as one pool wag called the match-up, Cheaters v. Chokers); Yanks/Rays gets underway at 8:07 ET.

In the meantime, check my (read: "Excel's") arithmetic, hydrate, and I'll see you back here Monday evening. Good luck!
