LAD 12, SD 3; Los Angeles moves on

This series seemed pretty close, final outcome notwithstanding, until last night. I'm not as big a believer in the postseason-experience factor as some, but between that and having nowhere to hide with the DH in the NL...and this Dodger line-up is like dressing the cat in doll clothes. You'll get away with it for a while, but eventually he's gonna be done and then, so are you.

"Is that weird metaphor supposed to distract us from our despair?" - everyone with Padre picks

Not really. Okay, lots to get through here so let's start with the points:

Bellinger 4
Betts 2
Bax Buntsy 0
Pollock 2
Seager 1
Turner 1

Hosmer 1
Machado 1
Myers 0
Tatis 2

And now, the money, which got shuffled again slightly:

39 Fell 2
38 Shotwell 2
37 Stempelson

Still trailing closely:

36 Yuhan 2

Everyone else, plus lost picks and zombie slates, after the jump!

"After the jump" jokes aside, if you still have a complete slate -- or a unique pick -- you may not be out of this thing even if you've been bumping along in the teens all week.

On the other hand, if your slate's in italics today, that means it's the walking dead: no picks remaining.

33 SDB 2 and Crase
31 Barboot 2

29 Brady
28 Cameron 2
27 Cameron 1, Shotwell 1, Lund, JArbour 1

25 Bingham 2
24 Cayenne 2, Tormey, MArbour 1

23 MArbour 2, Barboot 1
22 Fell 1
21 O'Reilly, Bauer 2, Cayenne 1
20 Yuhan 1

19 Bingham 1, DGB, Bauer 1
17 SDB 1, Dunn

16 Winklepleck
14 JArbour 2

So we've lost Hosmer, Machado, Myers, and Tatis, the latter of whom was tied for points leader among picks...everyone in the money had Tatis. Most of the people just off the pace had Machado. Roof stoof, as they say on Happy Endings

The bloodbath may continue tonight, depending on who wins Yanks/Rays Game 5; that starts at 7:10 on TBS. In a previous update, I noted that I think letting the Bombers back in was a fatal error for the Rays, but TB is a good team and it's not like I'm ever right about...any of this? Good luck to everyone who's still alive, and if you see any math mistakes (or just want to vent), comments are open as always.
