Well, not to be a downer, but when I half-assedly crunch the numbers, it seems the only way your returning champs Broomfield/Romine can even get to SECOND place is if Youkilis hits a couple of walkoff grand slams in the course of BOS and LAD sweeping their respective League Champ Series.

Love,
Broomfield

A tip of the cap to Angels 1B Mark Teixiera, whose batting average was like one bazillion in this series, but with no point-giving home runs and just one RBI.

Also, thanks to Angels manager Mike Scioscia who attempted a squeeze bunt in the top of the 9th, even though everyone on earth knew it was coming.

Way to end your season!
