WSH 4, LAD 2

Greetings from the waiting room at Bay Diagnostic; worse ways to pass the time waiting to see why my tire-pressure monitor is trying to gaslight me than to update the pool, I guess. I'll probably have to win this thing to pay for whatever dumb thing has gone wrong...

The Nats evened up the series last night, and while nobody picked that Turner, the ginger Turner got his pickers some points:

Muncy 4
Pederson 2
Turner 2

That Bellinger pick's starting to look juuuust a little flea-bitten. A...gain.

The money, after the first day with all picks in action:

20 Fell 2
19 SDB 2
13 Stempel, Cameron 2

The rest of the field and today's schedule of play, after the jump.

12 Arbour 2
11 Cayenne
10 Bauer 1, Reid 2, SDB 1

9 Shotwell 1, DGB
8 Yuhan 1
7 Brady
6 Fell 1, Yuhan 2, Lund

5 Winklepleck, Cameron 1, Crase, Tormey
4 Arbour 1, Bauer 2, Reid 1, Shotwell 2
3 Dunn

Despite the tumbleweeds affecting some squares of the ol' spreadsheet to date, it's not time to panic yet, because the NL's off tonight. That means those with all-AL slates can make up some ground. A hot night from Springer could change the entire landscape.

We'll find out at 5:07 ET when Minnesota looks to make it not 15 playoff losses in a row to the Bombers; Dobnak vs. Tanaka is the match-up. The night game is Rays/Astros, Snell (which I will be yelling, a la "SCHNELLLLL!," every time he's on my TV) vs. Cole.

Please don't spend my $10 entry fee all in one place, eventual winner.
