I was thrilled when LeMahieu hit that homer -- I don't actually care who wins various serieseses anymore; I just want more baseball, and if the Yanks could pull this game out, hey, more baseball -- but I also had zero expectation with Altuve coming up that Game 6 would go to extras. And it didn't.

LCS MVP for the pool is Altuve, although LeMahieu's OPS put him in the conversation; LVP is Alvarez, although Alvarez and the guy who pinch-hit for him left a combined 5 on base...and Gardner did that all by himself. Great pick, Buntsy. 

The Flyin' Hawaiian Memorial Unpicked MVP award probably has to go to Michael Brantley because Houston won, but I'd hear arguments for Gio Urshela as well.
