NYY 7, HOU 0

There's a headline on MLB.com right now that reads "Gleyber's dad enjoys the show." Mine did too, because Torres picked up a whole whack of points -- and he was willing to share:

Altuve 1

Judge 2
LeMahieu 2
Torres 7

New look for the money (hey, Dad; hey, Sil).

43 SDB 2
35 Stempel
34 Reid 1, DGB

More after the jump...

33 The Fells
32 Cayenne
31 Bauer 1, Yuhan 2
30 Winklepleck, Cameron 2

29 Brady
28 Arbour 2
27 Shotwell 1
25 Bauer 2

24 Reid 2
23 Shotwell 2, Arbour 1, Tormey
22 SDB1 and Dunn
21 Lund, Cameron 1, Yuhan 1

19 Crase

Of note: 1) the top two slates only have a single pick left; 2) if Gurriel or Springer ever really gets after it, the view at the top will be a lot different; 3) an acquaintance slammed my Gardy pick last week, and I was all snotty "we'll see," and now we see and I ain't like it.

The NL's traveling to the nation's capital today, so it's just the one game, Paxton v. Verlander at 8:08. It's been a somewhat unpredictable postseason so far vis-a-vis whether home-field matters (it hasn't seemed to, as much) and what legendary starters might do (Greinke has looked tired, for instance), so JV notwithstanding, I don't have a prediction. I do think Hinch should consider zhuzhing his line-up and maybe trying some small-ball stuff to untrack his big hitters. "Stuff like...bunting?" Well, let's not get too crazy.

Good luck, everyone!
