HOU 11, CLE 3; Astros advance

...I hope I'm not the only one who thought, "Well, it's kind of fitting that a franchise that refuses to change its offensive name got the shit swept out of them on Columbus Day." If I am, well, so be it. I'm also the only one who thought picking Gurriel was a good idea and that's working out juuuuust greeeeaaaat.

This game was a weird one, very close and well played until a...bunt? seemed to cause Cleveland to crack, mentally. idk. That, or it's what I said the other day, and winning the AL Central doesn't mean squat come it's playoff time.

The points:

Lindor 5, thanks buddeh
Ramirez 0, because he's nothing if not consistent

Altuve 3
Bregman 3
Gurriel 1
Springer 9, and a pair of smoked glasses so you can look at him directly

Lindor and Ramirez both leaving us, which only affects two of the self-hating Mets fans in the group.

Money and the best of the rest:

35 MArbour 2, Fell 1
26 Richardson
25 Cameron 2

24 Reid Love
21 Johnson 2
19 Brady, Shotwell 2

And with the HOU-heavy slates off for a few days, the rest of us have a chance to breathe. Back later for LAD/ATL.
