TOR 11, LAD 4

And we're back! No rust on the Blue Jay bats, that's for sure. The Dodger pen might have been discombobulated by other factors than the usual (and of course you'll join me in wishing the Vesia family the best right now)...or it might be that these Jays can just hit.

Points!

Betts 1
Freeman 0
Hernandez T 0
Ohtani 4
Pages 0

well well well, look who's back and feelin' fine -- Bichette 1
Guerrero Jr. 2
Kirk 6
Schneider 0
Springer 2

The mid-range and one-off picks need to step it up if anyone wants to catch the leader; for the moment, that's...

118 Izzo
110 Quinn 2
105 MArbour

Just off the pace:

104 Mectomy

Still a couple zombies groaning around in the top quarter; everyone else who's still active, after the jump!

93 Mopsiukas 1
90 Dunn 2

89 Bauer Snoozical
87 Fell 1
81 Drake 2

78 Green
77 Shotwell 1
76 DGB and Cameron First
75 Wonsetler 1

73 Reid Omega and AK Dos
72 Shotwell 2

69 (nice) Bingham Prime
66 Dunn 1
63 AK Uno

56 Cameron Second

49 The Estros
48 The other Arbours
46 Drake 1
43 Bingham Emo
42 Tormey

34 Mopsiukas 2

21 Quinn 1

And we do it again tonight at 8 ET; probables are Yamamoto and Gausman. I don't feel like I have enough data to say how that goes, tbh. Like most of the FOX panel, I have the Dodgers in 6 here; they have some work to do to get there, but I think they can probably get it done if they can chase Gausman in like the third.

Things go the opposite way of what I theorize here in the 2025 post, however, so ignore my soothsaying, check my math, good luck, and I'll see you back here when Game 2 is final.

[ETA 10/25 at 10:15 PM -- I had Kirk's points at 4 for this game; he actually notched 6. That and the relevant slate were updated; sorry for the error!]
