Watching the first inning in our local last night, we cringed, repeatedly. A guy at a neighboring table and his son were also cringing, and the guy said of the Cardinals, "They just want to go home."
Welp, they're getting what they wanted -- and they're taking the SDB1 slate with them.
Once again, no points from Goldschmidt, who probably feels as bad about that as I do (heh) and is, pool-wise, both the most AND least valuable pick. The Shane Victorino here is probably Victor Robles.
Now that the NL side of the World Series is settled for both pool and world, it's back to the Bronx at 8:08 PM. Pitching match-up is...unknown, as of this writing, but very good luck to everyone, and I'll see you back here when the points dust settles!
