A creditable performance by the 'Stros under the circumstances, which included triple-digit temps at game time -- and a scorcher from Kershaw. Plenty of points to go around last night, but Kershaw had nearly as many as everyone else put together:
Altuve 1
Bregman 4
Keuchel 2
Seager 2
Turner 4
Kershaw 11
Nice to see Seager back in the mix, although as a Grandy fan, I'm sad that he got left off the roster. And speaking of rosters, here's ours, of money:
132 Yuhan 2
119 Bauer
110 Cooley
Not far behind:
108 Shotwell 2
106 Williams
104 Shotwell 1
101 Currie 1
Everyone else after the jump!
93 Powell, still lurking with a complete slate
91 MArbour
90 Reid
88 Braaaaaaainstempel
87 Tormey
82 Winklepleck
81 Brady
78 Bingham 1
75 Drake 2
74 Drake 1
73 Ansell and Bingham 2
tee hee: Bunting

The 1962 Mets of BPP slates gets a boost tonight, though, as Verlander faces Hill at 8 ET. Once again my slate's only hope is for Hill to strike out all 27 en route to a complete-game no-no while also hitting several home runs and watching Verlander walk the ballpark, and when I say "hope," I'm talking just about getting out of last place, but: cool cool, could totes happen.
(Ron Howard: "It won't.")
I suspect we're actually in for a higher-scoring outing than last night's, but we'll see how badly Captain Neverright biffs the prediction this time...good luck!
