BOS 3, TB 1; Bosox move on to ALCS

I like Tampa, I like Joe Maddon, and I wanted Wil Myers to put up MORE THAN ONE BASE, but with that said, it's better for the pool this way, and Boston is just the better, stronger team. The Rays kind of beat themselves last night...but it's not like the Sox wouldn't have found a way to beat them anyway.

Points:

Ellsbury 1
Ortiz 1
Pedroia 1
Victorino 1
Myers 1

No pitching points.

Most Valuable Pick of this ALDS: Papi
LVP: Myers, on both sides (sorry, kid)
Memorial Shane Victorino Why Didn't We Pick That Guy Award: Victorino himself held the line with 6 points, and nobody else sticks out as a glaring "every TIME, that guy." Zobrist, maybe.

Standings and sked, after the jump.

The money holds somewhat steady:
Quinn 87
Johnson 1 84
Birthworthy 80

Bingham 1 79
Cameron 2 78.33
Dunn 73.67
Reid and Sheebell 71

Tormey 69.67
Shotwell 68.67
Green 64

Johnson 2 59. 67
Ramos 53
Cameron 1 51.67

Bingham 2 and Bunting 2 48
Bunting 1 43.33
Stempardson 42
Rogers 40

Quiet week from here on out; there's just the one game tonight to decide who meets Los Angeles in the NLCS, 8 PM Eastern. Any outcome is painful for poolies, but a St. Louis loss is going to punch most of the pitching slates in the tits. Not sure how to call it here, either, because the momentum seemed to have shifted to the Bucs, but now they go back to Busch, no? So, I don't know.

And I guess that's why they call it the deuce.
