CHC 5, SF 2

As a TV critic, it's great that some of these serieseses seem set to end in three; it frees up my primetime for, you know, my job.

As a poolie...enh. Would anyone like to put up a fight here? The years when half the pickers drop out after Week 1 aren't any fun for anyone.

From last night's authoritative win by the Cubbeenies:

Baez 2
Bryant 1
Rizzo -4
Russell -1
Zobrist -1

Hendricks 6.67 (3.2 IP, no K, no BB; 1 R, 2 RBI, 0 LOB)

***

Belt 1
Posey -1

everyone else cancelling their TBs out with LOB

Money, standings, and schedule after the jump.

No real change to the leaders, though one of my slates climbed over Reid Love thanks to "Everybody Beats The" Riz.

53 Williams
45 Richardson/Simone
42.67 Bunting Dos

40s: Reid Love, Stempel

30s: Ekard, Yuhan Dos, Bingham Dos, MacEachern

high 20s: Drake, Cameron Uno, Shotwell

low 20s: Green, Bauer Uno, Bingham Uno, Shee/Bell, Bunting Uno

high teens: Bauer Dos, Quinn, Yuhan Uno, Crase, Arbour Uno, Johnson Dos, Currie

low 10s: Winklepleck, Johnson Uno, Reid Hate, Brady, Cameron Dos, Broomfield

present: Richardson/Elodie, Arbour Dos

We do have three games today, though, in theory (the weather's sufficiently nasty here in the 718 right now that I'm not sure it'll be good enough to go in the 202), and a couple of pitching picks going, though neither got a ton of play picks-wise. But if the AL teams facing elimination, and especially Boston, can't hang on another day, the dust could settle on some of these slates permanently by tonight.

In case anyone's skipping Hillary v. Skeezeballs McCrotchgrab, your schedule of play is as follows:

LAD @ WSH 1 ET, Hill vs. Roark (FS1)
CLE @ BOS 4 ET, Tomlin vs. Buchholz (TBS)
TEX @ TOR 7:30 ET, Lewis vs. Sanchez (TBS)
